Three Wins. Two Projects. One Design Philosophy.

Some awards recognise a room. Others say something broader about the way you work.
At the 2026 KBDi Design Awards, Studio Minosa was thrilled to receive three wins across two very different projects: Kitchens Plus NSW, Master Suites NSW and the national Design Spaces — Residential award.
Our Brunswick project took home two of those awards, recognising both the kitchen and master suite. Different spaces, but part of the same larger idea — a home shaped around the way its owners live, gather, retreat and move through each day.
In Alexandria, the thinking was more playful. A completely concealed bar disappears into the architecture when not in use, then reveals itself as a richly detailed moment of theatre.
The KBDi judges described it as "a clever and memorable talking point — and a triumph of design and engineering.”
Three wins. Two projects. And no single design formula.
That is the part we are most proud of.
The work should respond to the client, the architecture and the life unfolding inside it — not to a house style.
These awards are a wonderful acknowledgement of that approach, and of the clients, makers, builders and collaborators who help bring each idea to life.
