HIA Bathroom Design of the Year - Brunswick

A Special Moment on the Gold Coast

There are moments in a project that stay with you.

And this is one of them.

At the HIA Australian Housing Awards 2026 on the Gold Coast, Simona was there on the night as our Brunswick master ensuite was awarded Bathroom Design of the Year.

A proud moment — not just for us, but for everyone involved in bringing this space to life.

Designed as a Sanctuary

From the beginning, this was never about creating a bathroom.

It was about creating a place to retreat.

A calm, refined master suite where daily rituals feel considered — from a generous shared vanity, to a concealed toilet, to a shower designed to slow things down at the end of the day.

The Power of Restraint

The strength of this project sits in its restraint.

Microcement walls wrap the space in a seamless finish.

A quartzite vanity wall grounds the room with quiet confidence.

Steel-framed, ribbed glass doors bring definition without heaviness.

Herringbone timber flooring adds warmth underfoot.

Layered lighting completes the experience — soft, controlled, and adaptable to how the space is used.

A Shared Achievement

To be recognised by the Housing Industry Association at a national level is incredibly meaningful.

Because this project is the result of trust, collaboration, and a commitment to getting the details right.

We’re proud of the outcome.

But more importantly, we’re proud of what it represents — designing for people, and creating spaces that truly support how they want to live.

And on this night, on the Gold Coast, that was recognised.
