Twenty-four years.

When you pause long enough to say that out loud, it lands with quiet disbelief.

It feels like yesterday that we set out with a simple but ambitious goal — to design spaces that make life better.

Not just beautiful rooms, but environments that improve the way people live in them.

Places that calm, connect and allow life to unfold naturally.

When we began, it wasn’t with full homes in mind.

It was with a small but passionate collection of hand-crafted washbasins, paired with bespoke kitchen and bathroom designs created one client at a time.

Those early years taught us about craft, detail and the value of truly listening.

As our reputation grew, so did the scope of what we designed.

Washrooms became kitchens. Kitchens became entire homes.

And today, Studio Minosa is known for holistic interiors that balance function, materiality and emotion — crafted for people and their place.

One of the most rewarding things we’re seeing now is the return of our early clients — the ones who purchased our original basins — coming back for new homes and asking specifically for the same range.

A quiet pat on the back, and a reminder that design built on integrity lasts.

The People Who Make Minosa What It Is

For the first decade, it was just the two of us — designing, drawing, documenting, managing installs, and handling every detail ourselves.

Those years were intense, rewarding and foundational. They shaped how we think, how we listen, and how we create.

But the real turning point came when we started to build a team.

Bit by bit, we surrounded ourselves with people who shared our curiosity and commitment to excellence — those who understood that Design Life Better isn’t a tagline, it’s a way of working.

Over time, our studio family has grown to include some of the most passionate designers, visualisers, project leads and procurement specialists we could hope for. They bring creativity and rigour in equal measure — caring deeply about detail, materiality and craft, and pushing ideas further than we ever could alone.

Yet Studio Minosa’s strength doesn’t stop at our studio door.

We’re incredibly fortunate to collaborate with an exceptional network of tradespeople, craftsmen, builders and suppliers — the people who transform sketches into something tangible.

From the cabinetmakers who obsess over every joint, to the stonemasons who coax warmth from solid rock, to the lighting technicians who understand how a single beam can change the mood of a space — these are the collaborators who bring our ideas to life.

Their workmanship, reliability and shared pride in excellence elevate every project we touch.

We can design with confidence because we know the people building, wiring, sanding and polishing alongside us care just as much as we do.

It’s this collective — designers, trades and partners — that makes Minosa what it is today.

We simply wouldn’t be who we are without them.

And honestly, the team we have now feels like the best it’s ever been — skilled, collaborative and glowing with creative energy.

We’ve had the joy of seeing our work celebrated publicly, but what means most is something quieter — hearing a client say, “You’ve changed how we live.”

That’s why we started, and it’s still what drives us.

Twenty-four years in, and we still feel the same excitement we did at the beginning — perhaps even more.

Because design, like life, is never finished. There’s always more to learn, to refine, to explore.
