Do You Design Only Kitchens and Bathrooms?

July 17, 2026
It is a fair question and one we hear often.
Studio Minosa has built a strong reputation for award-winning kitchen and bathroom design. These are two of the hardest-working, most expensive and technically demanding rooms in any home. They involve almost every trade, major services, detailed joinery, lighting, waterproofing, appliances, plumbing and finishes. Get them right and they transform daily life. Get them wrong and they are difficult and expensive to fix.
There is no doubt we specialise in kitchens and bathrooms because our clients do not want to take chances in the spaces that matter most. They want rooms that look refined, function effortlessly and continue to work years after the renovation is complete.
But we do far more than kitchens and bathrooms.

Studio Minosa is a full-service interior design studio, working across complete homes and major renovations. We rethink floor plans, improve flow, create living and dining spaces, bedrooms, wardrobes, laundries, home offices, bars, media rooms, wellness zones and outdoor entertaining areas.

Lighting is also essential to how we design. It is not an afterthought or something to simply leave to the electrician. We create lighting plans that consider how each room is used throughout the day and night. Task lighting where you need to work, ambient lighting to soften a room, feature lighting to create atmosphere, and layered lighting that makes the architecture and materials feel their best.

A beautifully designed kitchen, bathroom or living space can still fall flat with poor lighting. Done well, lighting changes how a home feels. It creates warmth, depth, calm and flexibility, allowing the same room to work for busy mornings, quiet evenings and entertaining.

We also bring the interior together through furniture, lighting, rugs, artwork, window furnishings and objects because a home should not feel like a collection of individual rooms. It should feel connected.

Some clients come to us with one kitchen or bathroom. Others engage us to shape an entire home. Either way, our role is the same: design spaces that are beautiful, practical and deeply considered for the people who live there.
Because great design is never just about one room.
