A Night to Remember: Celebrating Design Excellence

On Thursday 19 September, we joined peers, collaborators, and friends of the industry for a night of celebration — and it became an evening we’ll never forget.

Studio Minosa was honoured with multiple awards: Kitchen Renovation over $80k, Bathroom Design, Kitchen Design, and the most coveted title of the night — Design of the Year.

Brunswick — Kitchen Renovation over $80k

Our Brunswick project, a bold transformation of a much-loved Melbourne home, was recognised with Kitchen Renovation over $80k. This kitchen pushed the boundaries of detail and execution, blending craftsmanship with functionality to create a space that connects the architecture of the home with the lifestyle of the family. It was a challenge to design and deliver across state lines — and a thrill to see it acknowledged.

Brunswick — Bathroom Design

The same home was also recognised with Bathroom Design, a space that captures serenity and sophistication in equal measure. Layered textures, thoughtful lighting, and carefully chosen finishes created a private retreat that balances daily function with timeless calm.

Cremorne — Kitchen Design

Meanwhile, our Cremorne project took home the award for Kitchen Design. Concealed detailing, considered proportions, and an elegant material palette created a kitchen that feels both playful and refined. Every line, every join, every choice was designed to elevate the client’s experience of home.

Cremorne — Design of the Year

The highest honour of the evening, Design of the Year, also went to Cremorne. This project represents everything we believe in as a studio: designing for people and their place, pushing the craft of detail, and creating spaces that are not only functional but deeply personal. To see it recognised as the best of the best was humbling beyond words.
