We’re Hiring: A Dream Role for the Organised Design Lover

June 7, 2025

This isn’t a design role — but it absolutely needs an eye for design.

At Studio Minosa, we’re passionate about designing for people and their place — crafting thoughtful, highly personalised interiors that feel as good as they look. Behind every beautifully resolved room is a mountain of planning, procurement, coordination, and follow-up… and that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for a Procurement & Project Coordinator to join our team.

This is the kind of role that sits right at the heart of a design studio — not on the drawing boards, but deeply embedded in the process. You’ll work closely with our designers and Sales Director to turn design intent into real, tangible objects: the furniture, lighting, tapware, and fittings that bring our spaces to life.

It’s hands-on. It’s fast-moving. And yes — it’s deeply satisfying for someone who loves structure, communication, and a little bit of beautiful chaos.

So, what’s the vibe?

You’re the person who loves ticking things off a list (and probably makes a second list just for fun). You take pride in making things run smoothly and making people feel supported — whether it’s a client checking in, a delivery driver needing direction, or a designer juggling a deadline.

You’re comfortable in spreadsheets and supplier showrooms. You’re the kind of person who notices the details — when something is centred, when something’s late, or when something just doesn’t quite match the spec.

You like being in the studio, part of the energy, part of the action. This isn’t a remote role — it’s about being present, being connected, and being a key part of making each project sing.

Also? If Mondays aren’t your favourite — you’re in good company. The Studio Minosa week starts on Tuesday. You’ll thank us later.

What’s in it for you?

You’ll be part of a highly experienced, creative studio that cares about people, process, and beautiful outcomes. You’ll see projects from concept to completion — and know you played a pivotal role in bringing them to life.

This is a part-time role, ideal for someone who wants meaningful, interesting work without the full-time grind.

You’ll get to work closely with passionate creatives, build relationships with some of Australia’s best suppliers, and learn the ins and outs of high-end residential design — from the inside out.

A few essentials:

- You have experience in coordination, admin, or procurement (interior design, architecture, or furniture industries are a huge plus).

- You’re confident using Xero, Google Calendar, and ideally Notion.

- You’re great with people — whether it’s clients, suppliers, or the team around you.

- You’re based in Sydney and have a full NSW driver’s licence (you’ll occasionally help receive goods or oversee deliveries).

- You love interiors and believe that good design is in the details.

- And if Mondays aren’t your thing? Don’t worry — they’re not ours either. The Studio Minosa week starts on Tuesday. You’ll thank us later.
